KPNP NSW Taekwondo Open is a bi-annual Olympic Taekwondo event promoted and open to Taekwondo athletes across Australia and New Zealand and is part of an international sport Taekwondo alliance known as the KPNP Taekwondo Open Series Australia and New Zealand.

Our objective was to launch this prestigious event to the broader Taekwondo community and capture the essence and atmosphere of the event promised across both Sparring (Kyorugi) and Patterns (Poomsae) categories. In addition, we needed to create a market cut-through with our campaign that promised a quality, professional Taekwondo tournament that not only attracted elite Black Belt level fighters but also encouraged enthusiasm and excitement to our young first timers.

KPNP is the Olympic standard in electronic PSS scoring technology and with the responsibility of such a heavyweight global brand applied in a local setting, we pulled no punches in delivering a hard-hitting campaign creative that – although used in a static offline medium as well as digital media, captured movement, atmosphere and the energy of the day to come!
